Did you see the interview on FOX where Chris Wallace took the low road with Michele Bachmann? Wallace issued an apology saying: "A lot of you were more than perturbed, you were upset and felt that I had been rude to her. And since in the end it's really all about the answers and not about the questions. I messed up. I'm sorry. I didn't mean any disrespect." We have noticed a trend on FOX to mimic the ANCBSNN road of journalism that seeks to attract the dumbest-among-us viewers and suspect a ratings decline coming if they keep it up.  The interview did showcase how Bachmann can take a shot and brush it off with presidential poise. Bachmann is absolutely not Palin and worthy of serious consideration.

The New York Times demands civilian trials for terrorists LINK. The War Powers Act is being abused by President Obama. The definition of War is not defined in the Constitution or any form of federal legislation. If terrorism is defined as an act of War, if cyber hacking is defined as terrorism, an underage child could be prosecuted as a war criminal in a military court and the other hand, a bomb making Islamic illegal alien with high intelligence value could be tried in open court.  Do you see the problem? The problem lies with the federal government no defining basic terms. It's just that simple.

Q - How do I become a Florida Whig?

A - First, register to vote and select the FWP as your political party of affiliation (Click Here). Second, complete the online Join the FWP form. Third, consider becoming a Delegate. Delegates are those individuals who have pledged to financially support the FWP on an ongoing basis with a small annual donation. Delegates are regularly sought out regarding their opinions on issues, solutions, and views. Fourth, consider becoming a Coalition Leader. Fifth, consider becoming involved in a campaign for office. Sixth, consider becoming a Florida Whig candidate for office. Unlike the Modern Tories (Democratic and Republican Parties) the Florida Whig Party is a true grass roots party based upon our ten words to live by: Principles before party, personality, and profits, with deeds not words.

Too Busy? If you are one of those who frequently complains but also says that they are too busy to get involved and unwilling to donate a small amount money or time, know that the AFL-CIO labor organzation, which also typically supports Democrats, just held a festival in Orlando that drew about 6,000 people who were interested in grassroots organizing. The Modern Tories are able to raise money and muster the people while we work and pay the taxes. Take the first step, Just Say No to the Modern Tories. The FWP has not been hijacked by a branch of the Modern Tories, and we keep it simple with our ten words to live by.

The Florida Whig Party executive board strongly encourages you to avoid comment regarding the sexual ethics of these two men. All that needs to be said has been said. When the topic comes up for conversation, we encourage you to remind those engaged that the nation has serious issues that require serious leaders who are focused and void of needless distraction. We encourage you to use the phrase: "It's another sad state of affairs for all involved. It's time for true change."

Hypocrite of the week: Vern Buchanan, Mr. Franking. (See Link02).

Did You Know:  William Friedman works for the University of Florida as the Chair and Professor of Neurological Surgery. His annual salary is $808,437. In private industry, let he earn what the market will bear, but in public service, your salary is public record. Now that you know this, think about it.

Wasteful hypocritical spenders: 1. Vern Buchanan, R-Longboat Key, $142,198, 2. Rush Holt, D-N.J., $79,795, 3. Dean Heller R-Nev., $79,553, 4. Adam Kinzinger R-Ill, $78,518, 5. Tom Reed, R-NY., $69,440, 6. Clifford Bundy Stearns, R-Ocala $67,420, 7. Richard Nugent, R-Spring Hill $64,292, 8. Pete Stark, D-Calif., $60,766, 9. Richard Hanna, R-NY, $60,585, 10. Ed Perlmutter, D-Colo., $59,537. The top ten ugly frankers of the House of Representatives. Franking is pure political payola and these Members are abusing taxpayer dollars.

H.R. 2114, if passed (not likely), would require that for every three federal employees that retire, only one shall be hired. The title of the proposed legislation is: Reducing the Size of the Federal Government Through Attrition Act of 2011. LINK.
