This guy says he is glad his friend was arrested as a terrorist but he refuses to recant his railing against infidels. Sadly the Tamp Bay Times (formerly the St. Pete Times) never develops that part of the story. This is a puff story about the Americans who are Muslim when it should be about why we have not had an outcry by the Tampa Bay Muslim community against those who rail against infidels. LINK. Reason: Their religion is not one that follows the golden rule and for that reason, their intolerance cannot be tolerated.

The New York Times is a race baiting newspaper. LINK The problem with the New York Times is that it is one of the most hypocritical newspapers on the face of the earth to the point that is does not deserve to be called a newspaper but an opinion paper. The lack of a simple point-counterpoint discussion regarding the race for president is sad for those of us who seek facts, solutions, and common sense values based upon principles and deeds.

As counties in Florida, such as Marion, begin to come out of the Great Recession, diversification will need to be the word that must be kept in mind. When a county hangs its hat on housing construction and little else while federal housing policies accelerate purchases by unqualified buyers, then it's only a matter of time before big booms become big busts. The Florida Whig Party believes in mutual tolerance and freedom of association. We also believe in free speech. The simple matter of the fact is that we must defend the right to speak your mind regardless of what is said. LINK  Somewhere along the line, those who needed free speech the most a few decades ago forgot that free speech applies to everyone and that sticks and stone may break my bones but words will never harm me. Frankly, grow up. Live your life as you feel best suits you. Parent as best as you can and let the chips fall as they will. You cannot change everyone and you should not try or expect to. The era of bending over backwards for everyone type and sort of minority is doing more damage to minority freedom than what the majority is doing. Two words: Move on.

Some are crying foul that school building will basically come to a halt. There are others, like those in the Florida Whig Party, who believe in using what exists and focus on results and technology. Yes, we can always pour more money into education, but we need to focus on results and STEM studies. LINK
